Poems:
The crystal ball aflame Across the majestic mountaintops Shadows speak your name In amber waters glaring eyes Brew a vengeful tune Unto the unicorn desires A fate has fell too soon Drifting through my sea of thought Spells of misery cast Across the shattered acid riverbed Acceptance come at last Sentimental fires smolder Under bleeding skies Passionate pyramids building high Without the mist of lies Moonrose
![]() Top of page The Missing Piece
The warmth of the comforting unknown encompassing me, Locking myself into its eternal prison, Searching for the piece I cannot find. Slipping slowly toward the haunting mist of tomorrow, The cold of the chilling unknown encompassing me, Fearfully waiting to find escape from the memory, Searching for the piece I left behind. Slipping slowly away to the silent shadow of night, The confusing numbness of the unknown carrying me, Wishing for the key to the door of myself, Silently searching for the peace I cannot find. Haunting visions in my head swirl eternally Looking back to see my past - the faces I once knew Recalling all the friends I had - the things that we would do Turning back to face the past of when I used to care Remembering your gentle touch now replaced by a blank stare Looking ahead to see the future it’s all a cloud of grey Reminding us all to learn from our past and make the most of our today. It’s all a tease For no matter how many times I beg you please Deity of the stars above You give to me this precious love Then tear it away again & again And leave me to drown in my sea of pain I’ve felt this pain times before This pain that cuts me to my core An endless cycle This endless tease Has once again brought me Down to my knees Moonrose
